    Mattocks joins Bournemouth on training stint

    Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today that striker Darren Mattocks has joined Football League Championship side A.F.C. Bournemouth on a weeklong training stint until January 11. Bournemouth is currently the top team in the Football League Championship standings.

    Those comments at the bottom of the page from fans are not very complimentary at all. He seems very unpopular.

      when have they been complimentary to our players moving to England???
      Not until we start carrying their load then you see them start act like we are "god's gift".

      One week training and them a act so???? He is not a loan signing and still contracted to MLS. Every year players do this training with other clubs. Seaton did it last year. Make them move and gwaaay.

        Sass, the comments are nothing to do with English people. The comments are from the Vancouver fans.

          He was very poor last season and had a poor attitude on the field. Would regularly be walking on the field or throwing tantrums. He is the type that needs people to tell him how great he is.
