I am conflicted on MLS's advance to TOP OF THE WORLD. I thought the advance would have been faster towards playing top quality football. I am conflicted on whether to be 'happy' as the current poor quality means JA's gap to catch up is narrow or to be sad as it means a USA World Cup - World Club or age-group or senior World title - winning trophy remains in the far distance.

It is strange that the talent is in the MLS - That even as the MLS in my opinion does not in sufficient quantity include the USA's best talents. The best talents go to waste on playfields such as those in the Brentwood area of Long Island or the Greater Fort Lauderdale areas Florida.

Aside: Who knows perhaps many of those are kids without legal immigrant status?
