    The week-end's big game!!!

    ManCity v Crystal Palace - Can Crystal Palace stub ManCity's toes? Crystal Palace wishes to take another big scalp...in any case this TEAM always plays hard. ManCity desperately wishes to hang on to striking distance of Chelsea and also any slip puts a dent into remaining above those snapping at their heels.

    Southampton v Everton - Huge for both! Southampton needs to stop its slide...and Everton needs to climb the table!

    West Ham v Leicester - West Ham wishes to remain in the hunt for a European place and Leicester wishes to move further away from the drop zone.

    Liverpool v Arsenal - Two desperate TEAMS! nuff said! Both playing below full potential and 'dying' to show their fans 'true colours'!

    Mouth-watering fare!

      ManCity v Crystal Palace - So Crystal Palace has played as

      well as expected. The great danger they have is thinking they are on equal terms will ManCity and start flat.

      ...and as I type ManCity 1 - 0 Crystal Palace.

      1st half could have ended 2 - 2. Well Crystal Palace now has it all to do. Will they raise game to 1st half intensity or will they now crumble?

        What would that goal have done for Crystal Palace had they given it, as it was certainly not offside? That would have made it 2-1. Who knows what could have happened?

        And it seems the big sides (yes, Liverpool incl.) always gets these calls.

        We need to get rid of this offside rule!

          We particularly taught our refs (=when you are on the line) to look through and across and be particular on looking for the ball and last defender but one.
          Sometimes that last defender but one is the 'keeper. ...but most often it is a defender 'under your nose' or far on 'the other side' nearer to the goal-line than the attacker.

          This linesman/ref/assistant ref must have never attended a seminar with such discussed! That was awful call!

          ...but strickly from 'football stance' Cyrstal Palace shot themselves in the foot when they did not score first. They played selves into...deep into the ManCity penalty-area (beyond and nearer to the ManCity goal) when I think it was Fraiser-Campbell chose to pass on goal when the ManCity 'keeper was in his face and he had 2 of his TEAMmates less than and in front of a wide open goal less than 8 yards out! Play TEAM! Roll the ball to his right! A puff of wind and it is Crystal Palace 1 - 0 ManCity! That right there could have been the game? The Cystal Palace players would have had an injection of adrenaline into their already fiyahin bodies...and ManCity could have been rattled. TEAM is a hell of a thing! TEAM is the only thing (all efforts must be for TEAM).
