  • Ars v Newcastle - Excellent goal by Welbeck!

    The ref is sick!

Again it shows that Welback is a good player but needs some goals if he wants to be playing in the center. Bellerin is a revealation to me so far. Never seen him play before but impress with a few minutes I have seen.

      Good chat, Sass!

The commentators keep saying they do not know if he can defend. That shows a lack of appreciation for the FIRST RULE OF DEFENDING i.e. GET TO THE BALL FIRST! Bellelin has been absolutely brilliant. He has gotten to the ball first on every occasion save being a tad late and therefore picking up a YELLOW as he when through the back of his opponent. He has been brilliant!

Having said that Bellelin just failed to get to a ball sent into the penalty-area and Newcastle 1!

I am looking for the details on Welbeck scoring but I don't see that anywhere.

He has been great. He has also been robbed of a goal by the ref.

Aside: All the GUNNERS' goals have been excellent! Two by Giroud!

              quite good

Welbeck just played the fool and assisted Newcastle in destroying an Arsenal counter.

Yeah Giroud is like a ninja, operates in small margins and is silently deadly, nothing flashy except of course the ridiculous hairstyles.

                    Re: Nothing fancy
Usually! ...but his 2nd was incisive, outrageous flair and technical skills and deadly! A fitting end to another of his always brilliant near corner (near side) runs.

...but he also had on display his lack of pace and his penchant for destroying attacks by either poor passes or stopping the play. Having said that he deserves a for today's game.

                      Bellerin?

Good call, Sass. Now in the post-match highlights and review a commentator now gives due respeck...
Bellerin, I thought, was excellent for Arsenal
                      ...he said.

Welbeck does not know how to play off a defender

Twice when arsenal had the ball making advances on goal, he allowed Colocinni to guard the man with the ball (Sanchez) and himself.....Dunny isn't that a coaching tactic or lesson to be taught how to take the defender away from your man with the ball or as your "Gaad "like Manager abandon Gervinho( you Dunny told me that professionals don't need to practice..lol...shoot drills) These small details are left to players to figure out.
Therefore although we won convincingly and Welbeck link up play was good. If he plays with a little more brawn I believe he or Sanchez would have scored today...

And Thats all I have to say about That...A little more coaching I believe and Arsenal players would be so much better...Welbeck needs a Thierry Henry clinic....I think that's what Henry need to do follow Hakeem Olajuwon's work with basketball players....( aside even the great Lebron James took hakeem clinic over the years) and coach some of these players during off season

Re-Welbeck = He has played under Sir Alex Ferguson and now Arsene Wenger who both might know a bit about coaching not to mention the coaches that work under them. I get the point though that one on one with Colocini he ran too close to the defender
