Mattocks slips his opponent and runs at goal with Richards (I think to his right) & McAnuff (I think to his left)...the central defenders key on Mattocks...TEAM demands he rolls the ball to his left or his right --- to McAnuff or to Richards.
Either pass opens two options - the 'keeper must move over to the side the pass is made to face his opponent. So opening of the goal? DONE! ...either a shot goes in - not necessarily scoring bug one whereon the 'keeper had no time to set up to defend same - or a roll back across the goal to the still onrushing Mattocks for a tap into a now empty goal. TEAM! TEAM! TEAM! ...should have been Mattocks' play!
