Yes, 1-1 final. Mattocks opened the scoring in there 13th minute and they equalized in the 29th.

Disappointed to hear. We should be putting away teams like Martinique easily.

The reasoned response to our expectation that our TEAMs should easily defeat our Caribbean foes, would be a call to 'wake up and smell the coffee' on assessment of our local coaches' and our technical directors/national coaches' results. Those results have been poor.

Our TEAMs at the age-group level has had much recent success against our Caribbean opponents. Expectations of consistent future successes may be tempered by improvement of those countries senior teams and the apparent eagerness with which they have 'studied' our World Cup 1998 results and our advances to FIFA age-group final tournaments.

It would appear that our CFU rivals are striving to field TEAMs while we continue to ignore same and opt for hope that ragged inconsistent groups with good physical attributes will somehow translate into consistent wins and thus gaining of trophies.

Let us face the fact that the results of our coaches/our teachers yield 'failing grades'. On acceptance of same, let us set about improving the coaches'/teachers' knowledge of the game and coaching/teaching skills.

There is no reason to think our players will lose their physical and technical skills if encouraged to work together on the field in a more efficient manner....is there? Maybe...just maybe...it is not illogical to conclude that our talented players with their 'good' physical attributes and current technical skills if as opposed to rag-tag disorganized individuals were wielded into highly efficient units=TEAMs the coaches'/teachers' success rates would improve? Our expectations perhaps then would be more aligned to results...right? Just saying some thought should be given to change our teachers telling=teaching our kids 1 + 1 = 0...right?
