Under LvG,Man U lost two senior defenders(both achoring many trophy winning teams),arguably Moyes' boy Fellaini looks better under LvG leadership,we drew with table leaders Chelsea, and lose an away game to the chalatans next door, conceding a goal only after having a defender ejected and losing the other to injury. We managed to end the game with a decent possession rate and purposeful attacks undaunted...
Moyes' projectory path was one of downward spiral, the consensus is LvG's is upward, and with good reasons.

Also,Man U under Moyes leadership(being defending champions)likely received respect from our opponents in the early stages of the competition,LvG has no such advantage.

One can always expect you to spin it to see the positives in ManUre's game. Nothing against your team, but on another day, a more neutral referee would have awarded City one or two penalties.

But even so,it does not take away from Man U having fair possession and giving decent accounts of .....
There is a difference between today's performance and previous performances,City really should not feel upbeat about the return leg.

Rockman, Read this article from a bigger ManUre fan than you.

Paul Scholes: I don’t see much sign of progress at Manchester United under Louis van Gaal

He tells it like it is and not seeing the game through rose colored glasses like you.

Tilla, you are a Chelsea fan,do you find Man U to be more formidable?
They act as the acquisition of Rojo wasn't an attempt to address the defensive frailties....
Besides, would they be more patient if Giggsy was still at the helm?
Moyes kept his job looong after his first ten games,if LvG ends the season in similar fashion as his predecessor then he will likely be dealt the same way....
We were told to be patient with Moyes, the fact that those same fans of other clubs choose to act differently....is by itself encouraging that maybe LvG will be okay after all.
Nobody wants to play for Man U (no CL),remember that, who defied that?
