U17 Boyz defeat Cuba 3-0, advance to CFU final

PORT AU PRINCE, Haiti — Jamaica advanced to the final of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Under -17 Championship after defeated Cuba 3-0 at the Sylvio Cator Stadium Friday.
Jamaica will now play hosts Haiti on Sunday to determine the champion of the region.
Hot striker Nicholas Nelson who came off the bench in the 61st minute bagged a brace, scoring in the 82nd and 85th minutes. The Hydel High School student has now scored six goals at this championship following his hat trick against Guadeloupe on Wednesday.
Earlier Cornwall College's Peter Vassell scored in the 25th minute as Jamaica raced to their third consecutive win and topped Group B with maximum nine points.
