- Ribery: If the writer gonna use national team performance to add Ribery to this list, then where is Yaya Toure, Diego Costa and Gareth Bale? Clearly an attempt to get 15 names on the list. Better he had used Tom Clevery or Ashley Young.
- Gerrard: Not a Liverpool fan, but why is Gerrard on this list?
- Pique: How can Pique be considered overrated when he was a consistent member of a dominant Barca and Spain team? If he has lost form, that is one thing, but overrated? The writer needs to think some more.
