Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.

West Ham ownership soon change trust me on that .

West Ham will have to sell Carlos Tevez or Javier Mascherano if a club bids more than £35m for either player. (Guardian)

With Tevez likely to head for Chelsea and Mascherano attracting the attention of Manchester United. (Daily Mirror)

Having signed the two Argentines, West Ham had a loan bid for Real Madrid's Brazilian right-back Cicinho turned down. (Daily Mail)

West Ham are now set for a takeover bid from Iranian investor Kia Joorabchian, the president of MSI, the company that sold the Hammers Tevez and Mascherano. (Independent)

West Ham Laundering Tevez & Mascherano?

It’s too good to be true isn’t it: Corinthians stars Carlos Tevez AND Javier Mascherano ending up at West Ham? Together? Did we mention the Hammers got both players? On permanent deals no less. PERMANENT! Or, permanent until they’re both sold off to Chelsea.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

How is it that West Ham, who were happier than Kate Moss would be if she stumbled upon Marion Barry’s hotel room when they signed Dean Ashton for a record sum of £7.5 million from Soda Pop Championship side Norwich City back in January, suddenly can afford Tevez and Mascherano, who – no offense, Dean – are much bigger prospects than Ashton. We’re talking Star Jones big!

I’ll tell you how: undisclosed fees. And Chelsea.

“The pair have been signed for an undisclosed fee and put pen to paper on permanent contracts with the Club this afternoon. All other aspects of the transfers will remain confidential and undisclosed,” reads a statement on the Hammers’ site (emphasis added).

In January West Ham spent a record £7.5 million to buy Dean Ashton. This week they’ve spent “undisclosed” fees to buy Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano, who both are rated at about £15 each. That’s roughly £30 million total spent in one day, when they had to break the bank eight months prior just to scrape together a quarter of that amount for Bum Ankle Ashton.

It’s fishy, and it smells like a sale of West Ham United could take place in the near future. Huh?

Corinthians have been run since 2004 by a London-based consortium called Media Sports Investment (MSI), whose funding sources are hidden as well as the Nooner’s identity.

MSI brought Tevez to Corinthians from Boca Juniors and Mascherano to Corinthians from River Plate, somehow batting away top European clubs in the process to keep the Argentina youth internationals in South America. Coincidence?

Kia Joorabchian, the MSI president who ironically is an Arsenal fan, is good friends with Chelsea’s owner – you know the one: the billionaire Roman Abramovich. This is no secret. In fact, it’s so well known the two are acquaintances that some people have accused Abramovich, as well as Russian-billionaire-exiled-in-London Boris Berezovsky, of funding MSI, and thus holding a share in Corinthians. What does this have to do with West Ham?

Well, Joorabchian and MSI approached West Ham chairman Terry Brown in May of last year about buying the club. Joorabchian, according to The Guardian, said, “If there is any bid made, it will only be for next year.”

Tick tock. Tick tock. Okay, it’s next year.

Perhaps the transfer of MSI property – in the form of Tevez and Mascherano – to West Ham for “undisclosed fees” is just the beginning. A down payment of sorts?

You see, if Abramovich, meaning Chelsea, somehow is pulling all the strings, or at least writing the checks that get laundered until MSI needs to cash them, you can bet that within a couple years Tevez and Mascherano wi
