    By Paul Tomkins.

After a bad breakup, you really don’t want to keep running into your ex. And following a particularly messy divorce, where the other party seemed slightly unhinged, it’s hard to entrust your little ‘uns to them for the week. Right now, Roy Hodgson seems to be dropping the baby, as well as the ball – and maybe even a bollock – when it comes to Liverpool FC. Everywhere we turn, there he is, haunting us. Weren’t we supposed to have seen the back of him? It’s like waking up and finding your ex-spouse in bed beside you. Frankly, a horse’s head would be preferable.

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Not sure if Roy is being malicious , I think he should have said nothing but the way it was said was not in bad faith.

      FOOTBALL EATS ITS YOUNG

If you ask me, there’s an inescapable racial element to it all – an overwhelmingly white power structure, perpetuated by malevolent elements within mainstream British media, assuming judgement and authority over a young black male and his body. Such an element may function in mere undertones, perhaps, but one can’t help but sense that it is indeed there. It’s the same sort of undertone that can barely conceal its disdain for Daniel Sturridge’s dance; which has sought to exploit every facet of Mario Balotelli’s off-field behaviour since he first arrived in England.

England's Roy Hodgson 'extremely stupid' to question Liverpool over Raheem Sterling recovery, says expert
Dutch fitness specialist who has worked with Barcelona says England manager should not question 'educated managers like Brendan Rodgers'

My take ,the media hoopla is racial, players have often been excused for complaing of a bug ,coded terms for being tired not up to it,but Paul boys Roy wants to claim some piece of developing Sterling and bungles to do it , the racist -xenophobic media comes out reactionary, they cant help themselves.

Roys outburst also questions Br overworking of Sterling, that seems to be lost on the media- that should be the story.
