No Dane Kelly??? - He has scored in double figures in back to back seasons. This season he scored 10 goals in 19 regular season games & 1 goal in 1 playoff game.
No Lance Laing??? - He was converted from defense to midfield this season & so far he has 6 goals and 5 assists in 14 games.

They have to step up to MLS to improve their chances. Not many A league players getting called.

JFF's scouting system or lack thereof.

up to last season Kelly played with Tivoli so the coaches may have seen him.
Laing has gotten calls before so he may want to push his case for a recall.

Ryan Thompson pushed his case for a recall and got one and has been a part of the setup. I understand the coach likes what he has seen. Ryan is playing with Tampa after a period of inactivity.

This time I can't too knock them as they are able to get 18 players together at the same time. The journey was very long, and the squad is made up of many internationals who had matches a few days ago. Other big teams are experiencing the same thing too. Brazil plays Argentina in Beijing then flies to Singapore to play Japan 4 days later.

...and comparatively Brazil has the(ir) players performing at same downward level as our Reggae Boyz? Somehow I do not think so!!!!
