sit back and watch the ride....Only wenger would have the gall to think ozil better than Fabregas. Plus no tactical nuisance or plan b or c to combat ineptitude on the field. Arsenal contained Chelsea for the most part but lack width and constantly tried to play inside while outside would have helped more. plus why change the side to accommodate Wilshere...If it's not broken ...although Wilshere didn't play badly the team was calling out for the Ox...

Where was the top quality set-ups for Welbeck?
    Zilch!

The best of the set-ups came to Jack Wilshire. He was clear in on goal! No defenders near!

...btw - Wilshire gave just about a perfect display on 'playing for your opponent'!!!! He lost the ball so often I lost count!!! How any commentator can claim he played well is a mystery to me. You just do not give the ball to the opponent so often and be considered to have played well....quite the contrary, he was awful!!!! A few flashes do not a good game make!!!

He plays well because he is white and British.

CANNOT understand the decision to pass on Fabregas nor the decision not to go after Carvalho.

Just had a chance to watch the game and my observation is that it was an even game that could've gone either way. There weren't many chances created by either team in fact I don't think either keeper had a save to make throughout the 90 minutes. I thought Arsenal asked Chelsea a lot of questions, however Chelsea's workrate and defensive discipline was of the highest order and they were deadly at the other end. That was a much better performance from the Gunners than the pathetic performances that they had away to Chelsea, Man CIty and Liverpool last season. I thought Jack Wilshere was easily Arsenal's best player, Ozil and Sanchez were the only disappointments.

Wenger been saying that since Mourinho has maintained his unbeaten streak against Arsenal, i expect you to continue in that vein ,in seasons to come.

                  Wilshire?
Dunny...Whilshire gave the ball to Chelsea so many times he should have changed his shirt to blue! ...and what did he do with the ball the few times he had time to pick out a man to send in on goal? He tried a more difficult shot! The man is an idiot! ...pure and simple!! ...and he performed accordingly!!!

As Gamma said - These things can happen!
I saw a man who gave away the ball too often and also too often delayed his passes (Must have been his aim????) to make it most easy for the opponent to shut down or harass the teammate at whom he aimed his late passes! ...both not good!!!
