  • Hue stands firm ,leans on the constitution

"No document that is signed in your country can supersede the constitution. The constitution provides redress for any employee or employer in the court of the land. Irrespective of what document is signed, the constitution is supreme and we should never lose sight of that," he said.

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

The JFF is the one with the most to lose right now

I think there will be a settlement with Hue getting a guarantee coaching position with the JFF and some money. Can't see Burrell doing anything less.

If the JFF knows what's good for them and if Burrell doesn't want to harm his FIFA ambitions...

Backing Jermaine Hue's fight for Justice

              Adrian Frater, News Editor

              Western Bureau:

After leaving national player Jermaine Hue uncompensated for the duration of the nine-month ban FIFA slapped on him for the prohibited substance injected into his body by the JFF's team doctor, the federation has suddenly emerged from the shadows, challenging the player's right to seek redress through the courts.

Based on reasonable expectations, Hue had every right to trust the doctor the JFF employed to care for the players. The JFF, in my opinion, had an obligation to ensure that its medical staff were fully conversant with what substances are on the WADA banned list. As a consequence, Hue cannot and should not accept any responsibility for his positive test.
