their MLS franchise???
It's being reported that they have been meeting with prospective buyers to sell the team, Red Bulls Arena & the Hanover training facility for $300 million......They & Garber have denied this, but I remember them also denying the Chivas buyout months before it occurred......Made a call but can't get the person to confirm or deny. The only thing I heard was that Red Bull really want to have a team playing in the Bundesliga (Red Bull Leipzig is now in 2. Bundesliga) & it might take more money than they originally thought.
- Hear that MLS is adamant about keeping the "Chivas" franchise in LA & to boost the sale they would have their own stadium on the Sports Arena site, next to USC.
