Fifa president Sepp Blatter announced today that a ground breaking new rule change for Fifa will be trialled in 2015, that will allow coaches to refer to TV replays in order to challenge referee’s decisions. The change has been talked about for years in football, and is already an existing part of NFL, Rugby, Tennis and many other mainstream professional sports. Perhaps 2015 will be the year that Fifa finally decide it’s time for football to get with the times….

Rubbish approach. Why not have a video ref who simply radios a call to the center ref telling him if there was an error on a play? That way, no need to interfere with the running of the game. KMT. X, you work for FIFA?
