Good to know USAF, i miss going to games.

Really looking forward to this new franchise.

They are closing the Georgia Dome (a very good stadium) and building another in it's place. Construction has started. Maybe this new one will also serve as the home of the new MLS franchise.

These guys really have money to spend. The Georgia Dome is an excellent stadium! It did not need replacing as far as lots of folks were concerned....

There were a lots of politics, business deals, bribes, buy-outs of preachers their church and church lands and arm twisting... to get this new facility erected.

Seems like it's going to be nice facility though. Lots of forward thinking it appears.

A lot of money being poured into soccer in the States... ...and the twinning with top professional clubs is increasing at a 'fast forward' pace...

Klinsmann and USSF/MLS seem to be on fiyah! USA as World Cup Champions and World Soccer Power in the future? ....mmmm? Paul Gardner would just up and die!!!

you know Atlanta is corrupted and a lot of this money passing. They want to build a new Airport close by me but the city of Atlanta fighting against it because it will stop them from expanding and been the only Airport give them a better chance of cronyism.

Authur Blank is smart as he got the new stadium, he bought the soccer club and have both play in the same stadium. One thing I can say about Georgia and that is they build a lot of sport complexes and parks all over the place.

In another 5 or so years, the US will have the best football in the world.

I am basing this on the business model>>>>>>

States & cities are eager to get pro sports franchises & these franchises take advantage of this (especially NFL teams). Just last week Snider (Redskins' owner) announced plans to leave FedEx Field (which is newer than Georgia Dome - '92 to '97), in Maryland, to move to either D.C. (his desired location) or Northern Virginia.....Los Angles is luring NFL teams & the 2 teams seriously looking to move there are Raiders & Rams (who use to play there). You should see the renderings of the proposed stadiums & they already have corporate sponsorships lined up.

Your team, Man City, has a franchise; Man U wanted to partner with Beckham, but they couldn't agree on ownership/%; There have been talks between Liverpool & NE Revolution about a partnership & moving to Boston; Stan Kroenki, majority owner of Arsenal & Rapids owner has plans for a strong partnership between the two; The owners of Aston Villa, Sunderland, Fulham & Roma are looking to MLS; Majority owner of DC United & Inter Milan has plans for a strong partnership between the two.......Jamaican player, Seaton (signed by DC at 16), goes to Inter for training during the Winter; and MLS is getting a lot of offers, both locally & international, for Chivas.........The league is growing & expanding, and most importantly, teams are expanding their academy system. The next 5 - 10 years should be exciting.
