. and since MU is the trendsetters all you jokers would follow us to the 2nd tier. Imagine MU is 14th in the league and y'all worried about us .... why not focus on the teams ahead of you?

A question of Man U or City, where the advantage of wealth is more striking?
Your two titles just happen to coincide with the injection of newly acquired wealth.
The rules has everything to do with expediture and income,Man U never broke the bank, spending does not depend on new capital.

Arsenal hands, with you blessing, are dirty too,the RvP sale had everything to do with maximising profit.
And what of Liverpool during their era at the helm?

Really? Starting to sound like Southampton fans last season who were singing of going to the Champions League after 2 games.

What? Going a decade without winning a trophy? That's not top tier dude.

Rockman, you are being specious. While it is TRUE (no matta what BT, HL and X want to tell you) that City's titles were "bought" with massive capital infusion from the owners...it is NOT true that Manu's spending did not require new capital. Your club ran up one of the biggest debts in the history of football. The only difference between your capital and theirs, is that they call theirs "investment" (money given to them by the owners) you call yours "debt" (money you borrowed from the banks). You certainly did not achieve what you have based on net income reinvestment.

He he he...you are too funny. I don't have a problem with TV money, just the way it is distributed. In the olden days, all 4 leagues shared TV money equally. Not until the Prem came along did that change. In La Liga, each club retains their own rights to TV agreements, so it will be a while before the little clubs ever are able to match RM and Barca. Chupidness. While football is a business, it should be a special case as it is more of a community service...at least, it used to be.
