    then I think your enthusiasm is mainly misplaced.

    The problem with finding local players is not lack of talent - TALENT ABOUNDS - but talent that has been developed to the standard player required by these professional clubs.

    I have been told twice (each time a different player) by professionals out of Europe that the player has great potential but that they have no time to teach the player - each to the targeted player - to play football.

    That led me to both speak with and write to NPL administrators and a former JFF (when he was at the JFF) big wig. ...even wrote to a national coach on the problem - Tappa. Somehow I do not think they got it....

    PS: Although the e-mail to Tappa and the words to the various stakeholders mentioned above were not exactly as follows - http://www.reggaeboyzsc.com/views.aspx?id=236 - the gist was the same.

      Karl I was kind of kidding, but you know what? Not only Jamaican players can foot the bill. It is good if you find Jamaicans who can and we have to train them but in the meanwhile a club like this have short term needs.

      Of interest, they offered Fuller a new contract at Blackpool.

        Thought of the wider-world also. I know Dunny has some excellent players out of Europe without clubs in his 'rolodex'.
