The rejection of Coca Cola's bid needs to be investigated. I am not sure who has jurisdiction over this matter but the JFF can at least blow some hot air.
Government has the right to investigate crimes but FIFA does not wan't government to interfere in soccer. The government would have to be more than reasonable sure that a crime was committed before hauling in ISSA because they would certainly earn the wrath of FIFA. The reality is that it would be unwise for the PNP to bring up another bribery scandal so close to election.
ISSA suspended the Manning Cup during the reign of Capt. Burrell and he publicly reminded ISSA that the JFF not ISSA control soccer in Jamaica. To be honest, the good old Capt. and the JFF was just blowing hot air because the JFF is powerless to stop ISSA from suspending school boy soccer. Never the less, Burrell stood up like a man. if Boxhil had half the guts that Burrell had he would be blowing some hot air.
Mr Boxhill, the cradle of soccer in Jamaica is school boy football. Speak up and demand to know who is going to develop the football fields now that Coca has been told to jump in the lake.
