This is specious reasoning..

The Germans have a certain style which is very effective and very suitable to their culture. The same goes for Brasil, Spain, Italy, Argentina, France etc

The fact that Germany is the flavor of the moment is not a compelling reason to go with their style. Jamaica must learn from all but develop its own style suitable to its environment.. otherwise we'll just go wherever the prevailing wind blows i.e. in a circle

As to your aside about using color "against against this new choice in coach" this is nonsense since no one here has opposed Schäfer.
The more discerning have just noted how the warped Jamaican society reacts to skin color issues with respect to football.

You said "SYSTEM", & that's where you start. A SYSTEM/PROGRAM is way more important than a coach. Every successful country in world football 1st developed & implemented a national football system/program so they can produce the players necessary to execute.
The coach is the least of Jamaica's problems. Regardless who the coach is, if you don't have a comprehensive national football program teaching/training & developing players as well as local coaches & trainers you will NOT have any REAL & SUSTAINED growth & success in the sport.
The players are not properly taught & developed, because their teachers/coaches are lacking & tactically deficient, so they can't effectively & efficiently execute.
The JFF needs to FOCUS on developing a Comprehensive National Football Program & stop the CUT & PASTE approach.
