    Nigeria belongs even if they lose

    much better showing than the Ivory Coast and Cameroon. They play as a team with sensible players.

      The foul on Messi that led to his free kick is forgivable because was on a rampaging dribble....damned if you do, damned if you don't. When I saw that foul, I said to myself that the defender may as well just pick up the ball and place it in the center circle himself.

        Forget Cameroon, Ivory Coast with all their talented players ..... waste of space.

            LOL - They should give us (CONCACAF) a 4th place and let Africa play off with Oceania for 1 place.
            The same type of thinking that created a problem cannot be used to solve the problem.

              Nigeria scored two very good goals. In fact many of the African team goals have been really good ones, but they concede too many easy ones.

              I think Baddaz was spot on when he said they play down to the level of their opponents.
