They are playing some good counter attacking football, still early days anything can happen in this game.

              Good game!
Both TEAMs playing very, very well.

USA needs to be on the look out for the man in space on top of Portugal's penalty-area - dead on or wide to the right or left. Jones' last shot should not have been taken - Dempsey, I think it was in space 'dead-on' at the top of the penalty-area...one-on-one with the 'keeper would be the result if the pass was made.

The USA should also be aware of Portugal walking then slipping into fast one-twos just outside the USA's penalty-area.

Outside of the USA's error on attempted clearance and Nani's gobbling up of ball and scoring...both TEAMs came close, Portugal closest (hit the upright).

Good passing and movement/movement and passing by both TEAMs. Nice quick sprinting at times...game had everything in that 1st half. Hope for as good a 2nd half.

Aside: Never knew about that 'water-break' allowance. Interesting!

I fear for them Islandman, Ghana will beat Portugal comfortably and Germany should put away the USA, however this is football and anything can happen

Dunny if US draws with Germany both go through. Is the ball still round? Consider the characters involved in this drama....
