      But why wouldn't they do it then? Rational people generally act in their own self-interest don't they?

      Harbor View FC for example seemed to have had a good thing going at least for a while. They seemed to have had knowledgeable people running the club. So why wouldn't they do things like the videos, etc?

With things like the WYSCOUT platform clubs do not need to go to places like Jamaica to scout players, they have more or less everything at their fingertips so when clubs in Jamaica asking a King's ransom for an average player they could probably find 20 of the same ability or better on a free transfer elsewhere.
        Dunny, Jamaica and lots of Jamaicans are mired in mediocrity.

        The points you have hi-lighted are all valid. But you will find some will defend the poor standards.

        I could watch up to 5:17 of what you posted. Apart from the poor quality video; local football is painful to watch.
