  • Germany/Ghana - Now on!

Per Mertesacker? ...and Gyam jets away into the German penalty-area.
...and on an earlier play just a 3 - 5 yard burst - The Ghana player left Mertesacker for dead...and could have gotten off his shot...

As I have been saying all season - beating Mertesacker is easy. Come to him with friend and engage the foot race...or just a ball to create race with him...and it is all ova!!!

...and for Mosiah: how has Mesut Ozil been doing so far?

Excellent in his first game...and excellent in this game (Half-time).

In this game (v Ghana) has already set-up 3 good balls for strikes on goal.

Ghana giving as good as they have been getting...

...also found self in great position for strike on German goal 2 times...and additionally thundered in 2 long range strikes.

      Excellent performance by both TEAMs!

            World Cup thus far.

            a) Technical ability from both TEAMs?
            Excellent!

            b) Organisation of each TEAM and TEAM structure?
            Excellent!

            c) Use of space by both TEAM?
            Excellent!

            d) Use of speed - mind, quickness of feet, across ground! ...by both TEAMs?
            Superb!

            e) Passing & Movement/Movement & Passing...by both TEAM?
            Wonderful!

Few...extremely few passes went astray. The ball had to be won by quickness on attacking same and the closing down of passing lanes.

This is demonstration of TEAM!!! This half can be used as teaching/coaching tool!

The minus - The match lacked a goal.

Mertesacker is like a steamliner. He needs a lot of time to turn and get up to speed. By then, he cannot keep up with a speedy Gyan.
