  • France sure looks good!

France playing probably the best looking ball of the tournament so far, all pistons firing on both sides of the ball and they have chemistry to boot.

Every player looks real comfortable on the ball and all the parts look interchangeable.

Pogba looks great, (him look like a real yard man, coulda step into any dancehall and fit right in)
    Benzema looks great.
Cabaye looks good, maitudi looks good, griezeman playing well.
Debuchy, sahko and evra playing good.

The bench is stocked like no other except Spain whose bench looks like a collection of a world all star team, let's see if they can get motivated to show up.

Did you see the amount of running they did, now imagine a tired Reggae bys playing with them after 3 good games.

      France not yet tested.
The TEAM got by Honduras with great assistance from Honduras. The Hondurans passed the ball to the French players with alarming regularity...and when not passing the ball to the French committed a plethora of unnecessary fouls=gifting the ball.

...and Honduras shot themselves in foot by going 1 down.

France could not have had a greater friend than Honduras.

Let us see how the perform next.

Yeah, they have this unusual running thing going on, dribbling on top of each other and curving on top of each other continuously, I want to call it the waterfall style but I need to watch it more and understand the advantages they get from that combined movement and quick interchange, it is unusual.

Spot on Stoni. What impresses me about this French team is also their grit. They are not only playing the ball amazingly fast, but they are not pulling out of any tackles either. They are a mixture of Arsenal and Bolton under Big Sam. Pogba looks great and does look like a Shotta. The French are well equipped in every position. Evra looks like he's got 4 more years in him.
Hey .. look at the bright side .... at least you're not a Liverpool fan! - Lazie 2/24/10 Paul Marin -19 is one thing, 20 is a whole other matter. It gets even worse if they win the UCL. *groan*. 05/18/2011.MU fans naah cough, but all a unuh a vomit?-Lazie 1/11/2015

Hmmm not sure about that Karl, Honduras was saved by the bar more than a few times that 3-0 was more like a 6-0.

A few standouts so far,the usual suspectS
(Pirlo and Benzema). We saw Benzema scoring a wide array of goals(include our game agsinst France)and France being TESTED by a rather physical Honduras.
Do not ignore what Costa Rica has done so far.

Yes...but the Hondurans went over to the enemy. They each and everyone played for TEAM FRANCE. Would love to see stats on their TEAM's pass completion rate and their individual players pass completion rate. I would guess the TEAM's would be very, very close to 50%...and as we all know at this level anything below 85% pass completion rate is not good enough!!!

I would have taken a 75% - 80% pass completion rate for them as playing very well but that only when compared to themselves and the worse TEAMs lucky enough to be at this tournament.
