  • Why is my commentator so thick?

    The replay shows the ball hitting the post; goal-line tech. says no goal (AT THAT POINT OBVIOUSLY), then goal line tech rolls and then shows the ball on the ground and it then says goal (AT THAT POINT OBVIOUSLY)... It's not rocket science!

    Now, here is where human "inefficiency" ( I hesitate to say incompetence though that exists too) is assisted by technology. We would not with the naked eye be able to ascertain whether that was over the line or not... so the technology comes into play. I don't see why we can't get the same type of ASSISTANCE (note the word used) for the REFS and LINESMEN on offsides.. eeh BT?

      Sometimes commentators really are doing this to generate interest. Imagine if they had just yawned and accepted it as a goal because GLT said it was? What fun would be in that?

        Sounds like lack of creativity to me...there is so much to talk about with that single incident that I find that hard to accept, but you may well be right.
