  • Hodgson doesnt get it

Where was the english midfield ? he expects SS and Welbeck to run or dribble it into goal,Rooney is no midfielder to open up any defence.Granted I love seeing england play it on the ground, you cant win without a midfield, I wouldnt be surprised if they end up at the bottom.

The team with the better midfield won over the better forward line.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

What should he have done in the middle X? Start Barkley or Lamllada over Welbeck? On another day, the side that started could have won.

On a another day ? put it like this 365 days in the year,Italy would win 300, draw 64.

You start with 4 forwards ? where was Gerrad and Henderson ? where was the creativity ,except for the 4 trying to force the issue ,Italy played with control.

Put Llana in the middle or Gerrad put Henderson in the defensive role, Pirrolo roamed free.

Did england need 3 or 4 attackers ? ,even if you start Rooney someone has to to go on the wing to bring in that atttacking midfielder.

          ......Rooney.....Sturridge/Welbeck

          Sterling....Gerrad/Llana.......Welbeck/Sturridge

You can flip who you feel comfortable with on the wing or attacking mid, but Rooney should not be there.

Welbeck should not have been taken off.

I didn't think he or Sterling had a standout game to be honest. Even though Sterling helped set up the goal and Welbeck had a couple moments but i though he (Welbeck) dwelled on the ball too long at times.

I didn't have any problems with the subs. I would have taken off Sterling and not Sturridge but I think Sturridge had an injury or cramp.

And Steven Gerrard? He was a spectator in the game.

That is the best I have seen England play in a long time, Roy has improved them no doubt.
