He'll be at the U-20 World Cup instead.

Is Michael Bradley the coach's son, the one he drafted into the MLS?

Michael Bradley Is An Excellent Player. He Has Earned His Spot. The Fact That His Father Is Coach Is Merely Coincidence.

Who will create things in midfield? Clark, Bradley, Feilhaber and Mastroeni are holding linkmen and thus essentially play the same position. Dempsey can do it but he more of a forward than a midfielder, and his basic instinct is to shoot first and pass second. Freddy Adu would add much needed depth to this midfield. That said, Bradley knows his players and their ability to play multiple positions.

Feilhaber plays deep in the midfield in Germany, but he will play a more advanced role with the USA.

He can definitely make things happen offensively. Look for him to start in central midfield paired with another midfielder that will do the dirty work for him (Bradley, Clark, Mastroeni, etc.).
