Costa Rica got chances to have made the score a close one...and maybe Costa Rica could have even won the match but that would have been a shame. If Costa Rica had drawn the match or won too many of our teachers/coaches would draw the conclusion that seeing we had played Costa Rica to close score lines and Costa Rica drew or won then our REGGAEBOYZ quality of play is in the same 'ball park' as Japan...and nothing would be further than the truth.
You are correct, sir. Japan was clearly the superior TEAM and by 'miles'. Japan still has the 'scoring problems'/problems scoring goals as often as their creation of chances and top quality outfield play merits. Same ole, same ole problem as was seen at the 1998 World Cup!!! ...for all that they have advanced a lot...'left us in their wake', as the saying goes!!!
