I find this not to be true. With midfielders behind him like Hazard, Willian, Oscar and Matta (before he left), Torres still was not getting the job done. He works hard but seems as if he is not in the game mentally a lot of times. Sometimes when the play is developing towards opponent's goal, Torres is just not making the runs which could have him putting defenders under pressure and giving himself a chance to score. And just don't look at last season, as he has had two and a half seasons before where he didn't produce. He has had 3 1/2 seasons now, and he still has not adjusted....just did not have those around him at Chelsea setting him up.
Before, it was said that Drogba had to be out of the way to make him the main man. The club didn't resign Drogba and still nothing from him. Even Rafa could not bring the Old Torres out of the man!
If Chelsea had two of Aguero, Negredo, Dzeko or Navas you would see something. Torres needs a mental adjustment, it is not the Chelsea midfield. Why do you think PSG want Hazard and Oscar? Good strikers on top of their game will score if they have those types of players behind them.
