His dad was a coach at vere tech back in the mid 60's. Mark was too young to actually play for vere tech ( that was my attention grabber).
How did I come by this info? In casu conversation with one of Ben Francis' daughter and a vere tech alum

Did a few sessions with him at Mico...He was helping out Lester Richards coach of YMCA. Think the year was 1968 (Must have been the 1968/69 season).
