Tilla I spoke before on this but I guess you missed it. If you can recall when Prof.Simoes spoke of Brasil he said Brasil used 500 hundred passes to win games in 94. I will take it further to explain why. 90% of Brasil game is in two dimension (imagine a plane with x and y axis) they either move the ball left or right, backwards or forwards, or in angles of 2D. Granted they are masters at this and it will give them penetration over average teams. When faced with a disciplined tactical defence things get dicey. This is where they need individual Brilliance to isolate an opponent, do something unexpected, create space and score. Ramires will pass instead of taking on an opponent (see chile game second half) same can be said of oscar, hulk and others (they all need apace). You are now left with Neymar to do this for SEVEN games to ensure Brasil hoist the trophy. Granted Marcelo can do this but his job is to defend. Maicon had perfect game except for that ms-communication against Portugal. Yes Maicon can create space too, hence Neymar's help will be coming from wing backs (wow). Now that is if Maicon isn't benched (hey he did not play in the confed) Oh the other ten percent; is when the z axis is exploited in set plays.
I can't believe Big phil is buying into the best team in the world hype. Brasilians don't believe in themselves anymore? They really believe that Spain is the best team in the world (hence beating Spain says it all?) Brasil is truly the best team and none other can compare; it's always Brasil defeating themselves (should have had nine titles by now).
Well They may have a secret weapon. Who? Bernard? They just didn't know him in the confed. He is now getting to be predictable.
I will say no more.

Big Phil is putting together what he thinks is his best side and he has called players who will give him what he wants on the pitch. I know you love Robinho, but I thought that he was a long shot to make the team considering the wealth of younger talent at Big Phil's disposal.
I know you do not watch club football to see other players, as you think only the international game is what it is all about. Watching the Bernards, Freds, Oscars, Willians, Fernandinhos etc, you could see that the writing was on the wall for the Kakas, Robinhos and Ronldinhos.
I would also not be to surprised if Maicon is left out of the final 23. Maicon has lost a couple steps and has not been able to hold down regular starting position with his clubs. I recall when he was with Inter and Gareth Bale burned him with speed and left him for dead in Tottenham/Inter Champions League encounter. Ever since, he has not been the same. Inter allowed him to go to Manchester City and he could not hold down a regular starting place at City, and we all know that City's defense is not their strongest asset.
It will be interesting, but I think Brazil will prevail."Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance." ~ Kahlil Gibran
