Scolari reveals 8 of Brazil's WCup squad
Two weeks before officially unveiling his final squad, Scolari said he was appointing Thiago Silva of Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea's David Luiz, Julio Cesar of MLS side Toronto and Fluminense striker Fred as his four captains.
He added he was also picking Chelsea trio Willian, Oscar and Ramires and Tottenham's Paulinho."Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance." ~ Kahlil Gibran

Yeah, why do you have to be so negative all the time, Tilla? We all know that Robinho is a sure thing to make the final cut."Donovan was excellent. We knew he was a good player, but he really didn't do anything wrong in the whole game and made it difficult for us."

Real talk Tilla:Paulinho,Thiago and Luiz legit. They are the bedrock of the team. I trust not Oscar nor Ramires. Brasil toughest game will be in the quarters or the semis I don't see ocar breaking down defences or coming up with a magic play to give Brasil a victory thus walking away from OT. Same can be said of Ramires. I knock Hulk day in day out but Hulk serves a purpose he could press high and give Brasil some defensive back bone.
That said Brasil hasn't won a WC without two or more distinct talent (based on how they play) 58: Pele, Garrincha 62:Garrincha, Pele and Vava (i think) 70: Pele, Jair and Revelinho. 94: Romario y Bebeto with R9 on the bench. 2002: R9, Rivaldo and Dinho.
If Big Phil goes with Neymar alone with Euros will catch him in the quarters or semis. With Binho there it will be hard for them to figure out Brasil.

Robinho: Does Brazil's Forgotten Man Have a Chance of Making World Cup Squad?
Last November, Milan forward Robinho, once the focal point of the Selecao attack, was handed his first international call-up in two years. Brazil played two friendlies, against Honduras and Chile, and the 30-year-old played a decisive role in the second.
Coming off the bench, he netted the winner in a 2-1 win over their South American rivals. Following a positive reintegration into the national setup—he had led the line at the previous World Cup in South Africa—he remains on the periphery just six days before Luiz Felipe Scolari is scheduled to name his 23-man squad for the tournament.

Ah, I knew you had it in you Deep down there's a nice person fighting to get away from the alter ego Zeppo. Thanks Capt. America . They are saying the same thing I've been saying. I really want Brasil to have sixth title, at times Brasil is Brasil's worst enemy. My gut told me Fabiano's form wouldn't last for the WC, I bit my fingers and went in with Dunga. Guess what? Fabiano wasn't a talent such as R9, Rivaldo, Dinho, Robinho et al. Brasil needs these type of players to hoist a trophy; other than that the Euros will eliminate them.

Scolari picked 30 players and Robinho didn't make the cut. What says you? I old you it would be like this..."Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. Scolari, of course, was more than happy to omit famous names such as Ronaldinho, Kaka and Robinho from his squad and faced little resistance from Brazil supporters. Given their performance in the Confederations Cup and the chances given to those stars during friendly games it is hardly surprising that they will be watching from their sofas."Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance." ~ Kahlil Gibran
