What was folly was the influence Mourinho and Terry had on the ref. FIFA (and the FA) can't have players doing this. Any player calling for a yellow should be issued a yellow himself. Think about it, it undermines the credibility of the officials if a player holds up an imaginary yellow and then the ref pauses, and issues a yellow...no matter how well deserved.
