Seventy-one points, and top of the league in March? You’re kidding, right?

A month or so ago, once I threw off the mental shackles that told me this kind of thing doesn’t happen, I felt Liverpool had to hit the front late in the season to win the title. April is a bit early for comfort, but I’m sure we’ll all take it. There’s always more pressure when leading, but of course, if you manage to increase your lead – either by luck or with skill – then that pressure can abate. It can get worse, but it doesn’t have to.

So I ask this: can Liverpool get Dr Steve Peters in every day a week from now on? (And does he do house calls to fans?) Maybe this is our beloved club’s best chance of success with his conjuring of mental fortitude, given that he’ll be reduced to rubble this summer once he’s worked with Roy Hodgson. (Come August, Peters will be quivering in the corner, rocking back and forth and drooling.)

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

But who needs experience anyway? Just win. Just score goals. Play your game. Express yourself. Raheem Sterling is 19 with 71 first team appearances to his name. He was the best player on the pitch, closely followed by the Aaron Lennon-crushing 21-year-old Jon Flanagan, making just his 29th Premier League appearance. Goalscorer Phillippe Coutinho is another 21-year-old, while Jordan Henderson, a key figure in how Liverpool play under Rodgers, is still only 23.
You don’t win anything with kids. You don’t do go from seventh to first (or from first to seventh *cough*). Anymore? Not many would predict a squad featuring Djimi Traore and Igor Biscan would win the Champions League. Their medals prove predictions mean nothing. ‘They’ can do the predicting, we’ll do the winning.

I missed the game, but you are saying Sterling was the best player on the pitch, wow, I will have to go dig that game up. He is improving leaps and bounds in just this season alone, England's side actually could look pretty nice for the Copa this year if Sterling is a part of the mix.

Sterling was very good, excellent in fact, but if you ask me, Suarez was the real talent on display. If you get a chance to watch the game, observe how hard he worked to get the ball when we didn't have it, how tough he was on himself and how his movement created chances. Give Sterling his due, but yesterday was the Master's, not the grasshopper's.

As one sitting on the fence player of the year has to be between Toure and Suarez. Yes, many will look at Suarez's goals, but Toure is a DRIVING force for Man City.

Toure is really good but it always seems as if he can turn it up two notches and does not. I can't say I feel he is burning physical and mental energy he seems to be cruising. Suarez seems to be turned up all the time, you can just see his brain turning over, ticking hard, driving his body as hard as it can go.Give me Suarez!
