    or was it a smart move, using Sterling as a decoy?

    IMO, there was an element of selfishness in it...Sterling was way better placed to ensure the goal scored; had Suarez missed scoring it could have been embarrassing.

    Having said that, being two goals up with seconds to play and the hat-trick there to be taken, a little selfishness is understandable...maybe?

    I am sure he shall have an apology for Sterling. ...particularly as Sterling made the chance easier/provided assistance by sprinting approximately 50 meters and making of self option such that Suarez could fake to pass to Sterling then slide the ball in after the 'keeper bought the fake.
