    Sanctions againt Russia...

    Economic sanctions against Russia has started.

    Obama has authorized new and wider sanctions today.

    Russia withdrawing from Crimea is not likely to happen.

    Fast forward 4 years. WC football time.

    How many european teams will/would support a sanction if the Russian venue is still on the table?

          I fully support it! They don't deserve to host the world cup after such actions.

                    why not? it is resolved...Ukraine was destabilized by a coup and Russia entered Crimea to protect their interests...Crimea decided to breakaway from Ukraine, like many territories have before, voted on it and it's done...

                              Another angle on this Russian sanction thing.
                              The British government are coming under increasing pressure to freeze the assets of Abromovich. How would this affect Chelsea if this happens?
