  • Aaaah Lazie? The ref got 'gun shy'...and failed to

award a clear penalty incident on Sturridge.

    BoyU were simply outgunned!
Really should have/could have been MU 0 - 5 Liverpool.

Okay, suh why no one is talking about the fact that Gerrard wasn't red carded for bussing Fellaini's face? Okay, Rafael handle the ball, penalty. No question there. How come there is a different outcome when Johnson did the same thing? Januaz was blocked, pushed etc, nothing .... but Surridge drop inna the box and penalty plus red card? Friggin joke.

There is no question the team not playing good, but what happened on the field a fockery! Sorry, cyaan find another adjective right now.

      Forget adjectives. How about objective?

Yuh really think the hand ball by Johnson was punishable like Rafael's?

Handball is handball, it happened against Chelsea! Fulham and now pool.

Lazie, that is foolishness. Incidental ball contact to the hand should never be given the same treatment as intentional hand ball.

Rafael was beaten and reached out his hand to gain an advantage and made contact with the ball, hence a penalty. I could not say the same for Johnson.

I'm not disputing that Rafael's incident wasn't a penalty! These footballers are such good actors to you it may seem incidental .... it happens too often to be considered incidental. Handball a handball.

If you read Rules Of The Game, it makes reference to "if a player "deliberately handles the ball. . ." So it is not just about the ball contacting a player's arm. In the opinion of the referee, the player has to show intent to be adjudged to have handled the ball.

More specifically, for it to be given as a handball infraction, it MUST be intentional, Johnson didn't know the ball hit his hand until after the fact, while Rafael look like he was playing for the knicks!

Red card for what on Gerrard... get over that please, and Johnson's ball TO hand was NOT THE SAME as Rafael's CLEAR ball TO hand. Get over that one as well. In the end, the scoreline reflected the TRUTH. They say that sometimes it (the TRUTH) hurts. Deal wid it big man!
