How many calls did feathermop get??? You don't see players coming from England struggling in their first call up?

Here is another who couldn't get a call "Dr. Kingsley Chin, SEAS Senior Class President in 1989 and Ivy League player of the year in Division I soccer in 1988".

Listen, try another player. After seeing Volvo v Seba in NPL and the hype and showmanship Mop put on, compared to an easy going Tegat .... that ended up scoring the winner ... he was just hype. Never rated much after that. Yes he was dominant in St. Ann ..... only St. Ann.

The rest of the development comes from what we ADD to school boy football.

Andrew Federmop Bailey was a talented player. He pretty much took Volvo to the NPL, this included beating all the division rivals in East. He may had a bad game but he was a good talent.

As I said, he was dominant in St. Ann, in case you missed it. Watching him in NPL games well ....

My position is let the youths guh a school guh learn and have the JFF/parish FAs deal with talent development. Since it is an unpopular view, then we will always be saying, okay, next world cup.
I have to start taking you seriously.

Do you really fail to make the connection between being introduced to, and developed in a poor learning situation and alternatively being introduced to and develop in excellent learning situation and outcomes?

...and further, you do not see the possibilities if our schools' learning environment was transformed into excellent learning institutions?

Do you really not make that simple connection of shifting the minds gears through:
              - never having been introduced to a discipline and therefore being ignorant on how to perform;

              - having been introduced to a discipline but in poor education/learning environment and therefore being poor at performing when compared to others who were, will similar ability, developed within excellent learning environment?

              - our schools currently having poor learning environment and not surprisingly more often that not producing poor graduates?

...and that not just for football - see: the stats as compiled by 'our authorities' across every discipline...be it sports, the sciences, foreign languages, mathematics, etc?

You really cannot connect those dots...or are you just misleading yourself?

              Just re-read even your

...please? Are you really saying to yourself that developing academic potential is not developing talent?

There was this poem done by a Jamaica poet that had the refrain, "mi caan believe it"...I refuse to believe that you are giving us your true position on our abundance of talent. You are after all one of our own with abundant talent.

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

I didn't get his name. He was passing and greeting a group of us and a father is involved in soccer told me.
