ManCity has that fire power. That's fact..but Sunderland also assisted. The Sunderland players fell into the trap that so often infects inferior teams - They lead a superior team and the longer they have the lead become expansive as they the illusion of being on par with the superior team sets in.
Sunderland players came out trusting their technical skills too much and let down on physical work - closing down and vigor running about dropped many notches. The result Toure and Nasri had acres of space to showcase their exception skills. Skills the Sunderland players can only dream of."Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

Sunderland got chances to make it interesting...but the lower pace was comfortable to defend against and made going forward against fairly easy (nuff space in which to run) for that ManCity set of speedsters.
Still Sunderland can hold 'head high'...many before the tie (self included) thought it could have been/there was a danger of it being a 'wipe out'. Sunderland made it an interesting contest. Good show by Gus and his TEAM...hopefully they shall stay up and present improved TEAM next season."Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
