.....can be very boring when playing against a very organized defense. It is a joy to watch Barcelona when they are going forward but too often they turn back the ball to maintain possession. Each player takes a maximum of two touches, at most three, then pass the ball. They spend 20 minutes passing the ball waiting for that one mistake to strike. If one of their players loses the ball, the entire team collapses on the ball to win it back which is pretty effective. But those long period of possession is very boring regardless of the skill level.

If you find one side passing the ball from one side of the field to the next side in an arc while the defending side has 10 men in and around their 18 exciting, then kudos to you. No wonder you are such a big fan of Arsenal, because they are the only English team that attempts to play that way.

So Barcelona scored 2 goals, missed 3 clear chances and had another 2 or 3 great opportunities to make 1 more pass to put a player in on the opponents goal without having gone forward?
