Seems like Aguero would have been better suited for this game rather than game two.
Barca never left first gear...,that will not be the case..
But is a trait of City, dem score a baga goals in one game and can't score..
City has two players worth mentioning,Yaya AND Aguero. They had a third but for whatever reason he was sold,Tevez has consistently been proven a game changer.
They have no idea what it takes,Pool has just found form but other than that everybody except City, are no where near their expected form. This Arsenal team isn't even worth mentioning with the Vieira team.Drogba/Essien team would run circles around the current Chelsea team.Spurs is just Spurs....
Under those circumstances, misconceptions are formed only to be shattered by reality when facing a bona fide side.

Guess Bricktop has also come to the realization that

for all of Fernandinho's undoubted skills Yaya Toure run tings from midfield.

Shall I repeat it for him - Yaya Toure is a box to box midfielder and more. He attacks and defends extremely well. Creates for self and others. Roams the entire field. Excellent goal-scorer. Strong...for a big man Very Quick...Tactically and Technically superb!!! Yaya is a giant of a footballer.

When Fernandinho is compared to Yaya Toure: Fenandinho comes in second. Fernandinho is a mere good player alongside an exceptional player.

          -----

You are correct - ManCity not there yet.
In this competition with these type refs My GUNNERS are steps ahead of ManCity. ManCity has not yet figured out the way games are called here. Hey...'smarts' is key ingredient that often decides good player and excellent player...good TEAM and excellent TEAM!

Game is definitely called in a different manner from a country's local league to the top competitions:- These play a big part - i) culture out of which/in which ref ply trade; ii) in top world competitions - lower to highest - Confederation Tournaments e.g. Gold Cup, Champions League; FIFA World tournaments through World Cup.

Players must 'see and learn' immediately (not later than first 10 minutes in a match) on how the ref is calling the game. That is all a part of using one's mind/brain/'smarts'.

          Fair players are 'smart'.
          Good players are 'smarter'.
          Great players are 'smartest'!!!

What are you comparing? They are two different players with two different roles...Toure cannot do what Fernandinho does and Fernandinho can't do what Toure does...they are a perfect complement...Fernandinho had an excellent game breaking up the Barca attacks...my team played very well...as I said we just did not take our opportunities...

              Wrong on Toure!
He does what Fernandinho does and more.

              Right on Fernandinho!
He is no where near as accomplished - skill, ability and versatility - as Toure.
Able to do less than 50% of what Toure does...more than 50% wanting when compared to Toure.

Whatever Karl...that's like comparing Kompany to Aguero...they have two distinct functions...Toure cannot break up the attack anywhere on the pitch like Fernandinho can...Fernandinho cannot score 15 goals a season like Toure can...two different players with two different instructions on how to play the game...you are delusional Karl...they go together...

That above goes against what we have seen in light of observation of both players through the years and indeed how ManCity as TEAM and the two players have played this season.
