I saw it and yes it should not be you have to go down to get a penalty...but he stayed on his feet and ended up seeing the whites of our 'keeper's eyes. He should have scored.

Having said that if he had gone down - In my time I would have awarded penalty!!! ...in today's ref's guide seeing he was just about on the goal-line...Podolski or Gibbs I think it was, would have been sent off.

Any player sent off from either side would have effectively handed the other the tie. If it came to a penalty and the sending off of Podolski or Gibbs (the player for that slight touch), that would have been harsh!

2 penalties not given by England's best referee.
That is inexperience, give him a few years and he'll know.

Now, a no-call like this, I can understand if a referee did not see it or could have some doubt in his mind. But the Suarez foul...Webb must be more of a Ghana fan than me to rah!

Watched the game again - It was our defender wide on the right at the back, Carl Jenkinson, who touched Sterling.

Carl Jenkinson had a good game.
          Much faster than Sagna.

btw - Am I the only one who noticed how Giroud and Santi Cazorla (not so much) screwed up my GUNNERS game once they came on????

Liverpool players were busted/tired and somehow Giroud and Santi Cazorla managed to 'f@#$%^& up'!

Josiah?!? Isn't that someone from the Archie Comics?!?

I was never off the wagon. But how does one get excited for a team that wasn't exciting!

And at the end of the day, just not as big a fan about English football as so many on the Forum.

                  Still - YNWA!
