Well, full credit to him...at least he didn't try to put lipstick on the pig. The early goals from set plays were no doubt a blow, but what was lacking after the first goal was on field leadership. Arteta didn't seem to rally the troops or calm them down, it was just get the ball and carry on with a lackadaisical display. That said, what they didn't say was how INCREDIBLY FAST the Liverpool game play was. I don't think I have seen a team play so rapidly in my life when they had the ball AND ESPECIALLY in SWARMING to recover the ball when they lost it. They completely neutralized the Gunners midfield in as convincing a manner as I have ever seen. It will take some time, but Rodgers is on the right track - of that - there is ZERO doubt.
