Rockman, I have loved Man U for decades. The team was carefully built up. It has been quickly taken down. I don't mean to disparage the team but its results are manure. Moyes is a part of the problem. However, If you got the best manager in football in talks, I am sure they would be reluctant because of the uphill battle and because of the track record of the owners.

I would say we are(as is)good enough to be in the top four. The wide marging of victory last year is most narrow as it pertains to that other team from Manchester, that is a fact worth noting.

Fergie at least had one of his worst championship sides believing it could win. This team has no clue that it can win even when it has a lead. Belief kills and belief cures. It cured last season and it kills this season. Boss, if we make it to the top 4, it will be because a new manager is quickly brought in and a lot of teams are collapsing.

Honestly, did we replace Beckham,Ronaldo,Scholes,Rio,Veron etc with players of rekative quality?
Moyes is an idiot,I can understand a team or two improving insomuch they can now beat Man U but what we are witnessing is any team can beat Man U.
There is enough quality on our team for that not to happen, and that is why Moyes fi get a big stone lick.
At no point I said the team doesn't need rebuilding. Even today i indicated to Westman the midfield is a priority. The team is not creating enough chances and Rooney into the midfield to help create isn't the answer. Why focus on other positions when we are losing games of lack of steel in the midfield and lack of creativity from the same position?

Beckham scored goals and more importantly created scoring opportunity for his teammates with pin point crosses, this wasn't from the midfield. It rings true for most of the players I named.

Many are actually saying that Fergie did not want a successor who would take the spotlight away from him quickly. That is the reasoning that many have for the failure of Fergie to recommend Mourinho>
