  • 2 things - Ars v Cardiff: Besides his too often poor play

Walcott just played the fool twice. Taking difficult shots when better placed players were right within touching distance.

His (and my) GUNNERS need 3 points and he takes the decision to trifle it. The clear warning is Cardiff's 3 or 4 breaks on our goal. If Walcott continues in the same vein (being stupid and selfish/anti-TEAM) our GUNNERS may well pay a terrible price.

Second: I hope Bricktop watched his ManCity and took note of the rotation of the midfielders...but particularly that between Fernandinho and Toure?

For the first 45 minutes the whole world saw that Toure played deep and behind Fenandinho. Rarely Toure found himself forward of Fernandinho.

In the 2nd half Toure ventured forward more often.

It could be seen that at times each player 'played' defensive mid and at other times each took very attacking roles.

Incidentally both scored and both attempted 'killer balls'! ...and at times each defended stoutly!!! They each popped up 'all over the field".

These are two-way players...inventive and creative, takers of goal-scoring opportunities...excellent on attack and also on defense!!!

Wilshire since he has come back has been extremely poor. He is playing like a man who does not know the game. He carries the ball when he should pass...and pass when he should carry. Shoots hen he should not...and does not when he should!!! What is it? ..3? ...4? ...5 games?

What was the score and who scored?!

Thank God I watched the game and saw that Walcott was the best player on the pitch.

Do you think ManCity and Chelsea would have allowed us to escape after those 2 early give-aways and his poor efforts on defense in the first half?

I think those 2 would have had us 3 love down by then. ...and there would have been no over-run as it was in the 2nd half!!!!

He was crap!!! You would have thought we were 4 zip up when he ignored Podolski a tap in and bush his effort That play by him at that time of the game and with the TEAM needing a goal was bone-headed play!!! He put us in a hole that fortunately we were able to escape from around the 88th min. Thank God we overcame his transgressions!!!! Phew!!!!
