NBC Sports Live Extra allows you to see whatever EPL game you want as they carry everything. So if your game is not on NBCSN, then you go (on U-Verse that is) up to some channels further up the listings and chose your game.
HL, which package do you have with Comecast? I know I have those channels I have because I subscribe to U-verse 450 which gives you almost everything. So if I want to watch those NBC Sports Extra channels, I go up to the 3000s and I find them there. I guess if you were to subscribe to say U-verse Family, 200 or 300, you may not necessarily get all those.
With U-Verse, if I tune in to 640, it is NBCSN in SD. If I go to 1640, then it is NBCSDHD. The same applies to BeIN etc. I think the two BeIN I have are 1654 and 1655, both in HD in English and Spanish respectively.
I used to have Time Warner a year ago, but I love U-Verse better. I see Google Fibre trying lure me to consider them over U-Verse. I am not sure I want to make that switch just yet.

One of the Corporate Account my business have is with AT&T.
Every day we average 5-6 AT&T U-verse customers who are returning their equipment for various reasons. For that reason I am skeptical of having them as a provider. On the contrary, there is you and others who (I know) have positive experiences.
I have COMCAST-Xfinity Premium Package. It ranks one product offering under the everything package.
I'll call and ask them about the NBC Extra.
I get every other game in HD except BeIN. This not good. I'll call and question this also.
I would not read too much into the returns. AT&T I find do not have a service center store on every corner like say a Time Warner does. If there is a problem with a piece of equipment, they will send you a replacement and a UPS shipping label to return the old. I had a problem with one of my receivers where at times it just wouldn't respond to the remote, but I had established that there was no problem with the remote. So I went through the UPS process as well.
Do they have Google Fibre in Atlanta? Sounds like it may be the next big thing. They started it in the Kansas City market last year then plan to expand it to other parts of the country. They say it is 100 times faster than any other service out there. Truth is, I am not sure I need all the additional speed as most of what I do right now is served well with the speeds I am working with.
I would also need to check them out to see if they offer a comparative lineup to the other services and compare the cost.
So yes HL, do not watch returns of AT&T equipment as a measure of the satisfaction of customers with the service. If you had to go into a Time Warner or Comcast store, you would most likely see similar amount of returns for whatever reasons.

I seem to remember that when I was a COMCAST customer - (Not sure the channel line-ups in my neck of the woods would be the same as in yours) - BeIN in HD was found at a higher numbered channel?

I use a friend's family member's account which allows me to watch any game on a pc, tablet or mobile phone. You can connect your pc to a TV to see the game in HD. Generally there is a log in screen for you to validate your account, and then you are given access to watch any match. I got tired of paying $150/month for cable & internet, and I dumped Comcast. Now paying $50/month for Comcast internet, and with a digital antenna you can watch all the local channels in HD, including ESPN, CNN, NBC Sports etc on TV via the HDMI port on a pc.
