I watched the Ghana v. Egypt game the other night.

Apart from the burst-a$$ that Egypt received...i was enamored by the fan support!!

The dancing, the singing, the shouting and the bright Red , Green and Gold colors was fantastic!! I smiled all through the game.

True football fans support their team win or lose.

There are even some fans who have sings dedicated to losing. Just can't beat that.

The attendance at Jamaicas' last game was at best pityful!!

I was at lunch with some of my American coworkers today and we were discussing the USA/Jamaica match. I had to give it to the US for their support of their team during the game. I am saying at one end where they had Sam's Army, they jumped and cheered throughout the entire match! I was moved by their support.

As I was telling them, Jamaicans do not support like that. We will sit and watch in silence for most of the game, only coming to life when a man "cut a salad" or make some good play. Yes, we have a lot to learn in the way we support our team.
