KANSAS CITY, Kansas --- Jamaican midfield ace Rodolph Austin, left winger Demar Phillips and Houston Dynamo defender Jermaine Taylor were all given the all-clear despite getting post-training attention from the medical team here.
Austin, the Leeds United captain, sat out Wednesday's training session as a precautionary move, while Aalesund's Phillips participated in the full session, so too Taylor. Phillips and Taylor were later seen with icing on their legs, but team officials here assured "they are okay".
All players, said coach Winfried Schafer, are expected to figure in Friday's World Cup qualifier against the USA at Sporting Park here, with kick off set for 5:30 pm.
"They have a little problem, but they should be okay for the game...we have a doctor and physiotherapist who are good, so I expect the players to be okay," said the German.
